A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Azure, on a pile reversed between four parachutes deployed in pile reversed Argent (Silver Gray), a pickaxe palewise, axehead upwards Sable, surmounted two lightning bolts in bend Tenn, surmounted by a double-ward key bendsinister, wards to base of the third. Attached below the shield a Blue scroll inscribed "SWIFT, AGILE AND LETHAL" in Silver.

Symbolism
The pile and pickaxe allude to engineering skills and the function of the Engineer Company. The key denotes security and the unit's Military Intelligence responsibilities. The two lightning bolts signify the connectivity provided by the Signal Company. The four parachutes suggest the Brigade Combat Team's designation "4"; combined with the blue background symbolize the Airborne traditions and strategic response capabilities of the battalion.
